Job Locations US-GA-Atlanta 


Design and develop electronics and circuits. Perform product testing and create models and prototypes. Develop and document electronic schematics for products.


  • Lead development efforts relating to electrical engineering for computer hardware, peripherals, devices, or other types of electronic equipment.
  • Conduct research on product requirements including: target environment, performance criteria, competitive issues, product marketing, cost, form, function, manufacturing, etc.
  • Develop detailed documentation including design requirements, specifications, diagrams, and calculations. 
  • Select electrical material to meet specifications and product requirements.
  • Build prototypes/models and perform circuitry testing to ensure design and structure meet performance guidelines.
  • Perform electrical analysis to determine properties, characteristics, and performance of circuits, mechanisms, assemblies, or systems. 
  • Provide technical information to manufacturing to assist with mass production including software test development..
  • Develop Test Software to test prototypes ensuring designs meet performance criteria and life expectancy.
  • Redesign existing product to provide cost reduction where applicable using the latest technology.
  • Develop, review, and suggest electrical engineering tools to increase efficiency.
  • May assist with integration of software into hardware products.
  • Provide engineering support to the Sales Applications Engineering Team.
  • Design and or assist in the development of systems solutions for new or existing customers requiring custom applications.
  • Provide board design functions using Allegro tools to shorten the design cycle.
  • Provide customer support functions when necessary to backup others
  •  Perform on site troubleshooting when necessary to solve customer problems.


  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, chemistry, or a related degree. 
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills. 
  • May require electrical certification or additional professional training.
