Telular Corporation, a leader in event monitoring and wireless access technology, provides tank-level monitoring, wireless security, machine-to-machine, voice, high-speed data, and fax solutions for business and residential customers. With over 20 years of experience, Telular Corporation has developed solutions to deliver remote access for voice and data without significant network investment or disruption. TankLink a division of Telular is looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to focus mainly on the Agriculture Industry.  This is a remote position and must be able to travel and reports directly to the Vice President and General Manager of TankLink.

Senior Account Executive is responsible for the development and growth of a client base through strategic outside sales activity. This includes prospecting for new accounts in a defined region, developing consultative relationships with clients, and managing ongoing account and territory activity.

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for presenting our wireless tank monitoring systems and solutions to both new prospects and existing clients, ranging from small businesses to large corporations. We expect our sales professionals to effectively develop and grow existing clients while continually targeting and cultivating prospective clients.



  • Meet and exceed all revenue goals and sales targets
  • Develop leads and prospects within a defined territory, securing new business through a combination of outbound telephone calls, online communications and in-person visits
  • Effectively present and demonstrate our full suite of products and services to new prospects and existing clients
  • Maintain consistent pipeline of existing and prospective business
  • Build relationships with channel partners and enterprise customers through professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Manage a travel expense budget effectively
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding business opportunity progress
  • Achieve an annual sales quota and provide reasonably accurate sales forecasts to management



  • 5+ years sales experience in Industrial Agriculture Industry
  • Work location is negotiable based upon the individual and proximity to AG customers
  • Has working knowledge of M2M market and telemetry
  • Understands distribution channels and how to develop channel partnerships
  • Equally skilled at developing direct customers and channel partners
  • Familiar with Cloud based software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model and how to sell solutions, not hardware.
  • Has working experience with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or SalesForce.
  • Experienced with conducting sales webinars to perspective customers
  • A passion for sales and experience providing customized solutions to clients
  • Proven success in developing new business while managing and growing existing client sales
  • Competitive, self-motivated sales professional with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven relationship management and communication skills
  • Proven negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Understands and has sold solutions based upon an achievable ROI model
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Must be willing to travel
