Job Locations US-GA-Atlanta

Overview:

The Telguard Sales Representative will be responsible for growing existing business, generating new sales in an assigned geographic territory (Northeast) via the telephone and customer visits to achieve monthly sales goals.

This individual will be located in the Atlanta metro area and report to the Atlanta office in the Cumberland Mall area when not traveling in the assigned territory. Travel is on average 1-2 times per month for 2-3 days each travel period.


Responsibilities:


  • Call on independent security dealers/installers, regional dealers, distributors and national accounts for account maintenance, increased visibility, product education, relationship building and increased sales.
  • Research, develop and profile potential client companies for future/increased business.
  • Maintain database for the territory contacts.
  • Meet call requirements established by management. 
  • Coordinate activity with customer base including appointment setting and call planning.
  • Travel when required for trade events, customer support, field sales support and product overviews.
  • Assist accounting as needed with collections and/or resolution of customer disputes.
  • Maintain territory spreadsheets to track monthly sales progress of territories.
  • Service existing distributors (check stock of product and literature, maintain relationships and product loyalty, gather dealer leads, and educate regarding promotions.
  • Provide quarterly overview and future quarter business plan including target account projections and travel schedule to include strategy, implementation and budgets.
  • Set monthly/quarterly goals for reaching established quota for the region.
  • Prior to quarter report goals for reaching quota
  • Post quarter report actual to quota


Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of B2B, Channel and/or Inside Sales experience
  • Proficient in CRM databases (Microsoft CRM experience is a plus)
  • Ability to travel between 20-30% per month to different markets within your territory
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience desired
  • Aptitude for technical sales, Security Industry experience is a plus
  • Conducts a team player attitude
  • Self-Motivated
